해부학적 면(Anatomical Plane)

 

시상면(정중면) - 몸을 왼쪽 부분과 오른쪽 부분으로 나누는 수직선

Sagittal plane (Also known as median plane) – a vertical line which divides the body into a left section and a right section.

 

관상면 - 몸을 앞 부분과 뒷 부분으로 나누는 수직선
Coronal plane – a vertical line which divides the body into a front (anterior) section and back (posterior) section.

 

횡단면 - 몸을 위쪽(상위) 부분과 아래쪽(하위) 부분으로 나누는 수평선
Transverse plane – a horizontal line which divides the body into an upper (superior) section and a lower (inferior) section.
