I'd like to introduce what Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation is and how to prepare it.
외국인이 영사관에 사증을 신청하거나 출입국외국인청에 체류자격변경신청 또는 체류기간연장신청 등을 할 때, 체류지 입증서류를 제출해야 합니다.
When a foreigner applies for a visa, applies for a change in his/her residence qualification, or applies for an extension of his/her stay period to the consulate, he/she must submit a document proving his/her place of residence.
Case 1) 본인 명의의 집이 있는 경우 When you have own your house(in your name)
부동산등기부등본(등기사항증명서) 준비 Prepare a certified copy of the real estate register
Case 2) 본인 명의로 임대차계약(월세 혹은 전세)을 했을 경우 When you rent a house(in your name)
임대차계약서 사본을 준비 Prepare a copy of the rental agreement
Case 3) 제 3자(부모, 친척, 지인, 회사 등)의 집에서 거주하고 있는 경우 When you live in a third person/party's house
거주숙소제공확인서 + 제 3자의 등기부등본 또는 임대차계약서 사본 + 제 3자의 신분증 사본*을 준비
Prepare a confirmation of residence/accommodation + a copy of a certified copy of the real estate register or a copy of the rental agreement in the third person/party's name + a copy of the identification card* in the third person/party's name
*주의: 신분증 사본에 숙소제공자의 인적사항·최신 주소가 나타나 있어야 함
Note: personal information and the most recent address of the accommodation provider must be indicated on his ID Card.
