오늘은 대한민국 F4 비자 연장에 대해서 알아보겠습니다.

I'd like to introduce how to extend a F-4 visa in South Korea.

절차 Procedure

 

1. 하이코리아 접속 
    Access HiKorea's web site

https://www.hikorea.go.kr/

Welcome to G4F of KOREA

 

'하이코리아' 웹사이트에 접속합니다.

Access HiKorea web site.

 

2. 전자 민원
    Access 'e-Application' tab

 

HiKorea

민원 서식 탭에서 전자 민원탭을 클릭합니다.

Access 'e-application' tab under 'Petition Application'.

 

3. 재외동포(F4) 거소신고자 체류기간 연장허가
    Extenstion of sojourn period for overseas Korean (F-4)

 

'재외동포(F-4) 거소신고자 체류기간 연장허가' 선택

Select checkbox marked 'Extension of Sojourn period for Overseas Korean (F-4)'.

 

4. 구비서류 확인 
    Check the required documents

 

• 공통서류 Common Docs.
  • 신청서 (제34호 서식) Application form (Template #34)
  • 여권 또는 외국인입국허가서 Passport or Entry Permit for Foreigners
  • 거소신고증 Domestic residence card
  • 체류지 입증서류 (최근 1년간 국내에 6개월 이하 체류자는 면제)
    Proof document of residence
    Note: proof document of residence is exempted to someone who has stayed in Korea less than 6 months in past 1 year(Main residence is a foreign country) from application date.

• 추가서류 Additional documents 
  • 결핵검진확인서(대상자에 한함) Tuberculosis test result paper (needed for relevant person)
  • 국적법령에 따라 대한민국 국적을 이탈하였거나 상실하였음을 확인할 수 있는 서류
    (중국, 구소련지역 국적 동포 제외)
    : 기본증명서(2008.1.1 이후 폐쇄된 경우) 또는 제적등본(2008.1.1 이전 제적된 경우)
    Document proving one’s renunciation or loss of Korean nationality by nationality law (Except Korean Chinese and overseas Koreans residing at the former Soviet Union area) :
    Basic Certificate (did renunciation or lost Korean nationality after 2008 Jan. 1) or Family Census Register (did  renunciation or lost Korean nationality before 2008 Jan. 1)

4-1 신청서 (제34호 서식) 
       Application form (Template #34)

: 인터넷 접수 시, 온라인 양식으로 대체. It will be alternative as an online form.

 

4-2 여권 또는 외국인입국허가서 
       Passport or Entry Permit for Foreigners

 : 여권 사본 A copy of a passport.

 

4-3 거소신고증 
       Domestic residence card

 : 외국국적동포 국내거소신고증 사본 A copy of a Overseas Korean Resident Card

 

4-3 체류지 입증서류
       Proof document of residence

Case 1)
본인 명의의 집이 있는 경우 
When you have own your house(in your name)

 

부동산등기부등본(등기사항증명서) 준비 Prepare a certified copy of real estate register

 

Case 2)
본인 명의로 임대차계약(월세 혹은 전세)을 했을 경우 
When you rent a house(in your name)

 

임대차계약서 사본을 준비 Prepare a copy of rental agreement

 

Case 3)
제 3자(부모, 친척, 지인, 회사 등)의 집에서 거주하고 있는 경우 
When you live in a third person/party's house

 

거주숙소제공확인서 + 제 3자의 등기부등본 또는 임대차계약서 사본 + 제 3자의 신분증 사본*을 준비

Prepare a confirmation of residence/accommodation + a copy of certified copy of real estate register or a copy of rental agreement in third person/party's name + a copy of identification card* in third person/party's name

 

*주의: 신분증 사본에 숙소제공자의 인적사항·최신 주소가 나타나 있어야 함
 Note: a personal information and the most recent address of accommodation provider must be indicated on his ID Card.

Case 4)
배우자 명의의 집 혹은 배우자 명의 임대차 계약(전세 혹은 월세) 계약된 집 거주
When you live in your spouse's house that he/she rents

 

주민등록등본 사본을 준비 Prepare a copy of residence register

 

*주의: 법적 배우자여서 주민등록등본 상 배우자로 등록되어 있어야 함.

 Note: He/she must be your legal spouse and registered as a spouse in the residence register.

 

 

Case 5)
출입국관리소에서 종이 통지서를 우편으로 받은 경우
When you get a written notice for F-4 visa extension from Immigration Bureau

 

해당 문서 사본을 준비 Prepare a copy of the written notice

 

 

 

4-4 직업,연간 소득금액 신고서 
       Foreigner Occupation And Annual Income Report Form

 

1) 민원 서식 Access 'Civil Affair Forms' tab

 

2) 자료실 탭을 클릭Access 'Civil Affair Forms' tab.

 

3) 양식 다운로드 Download a form

  Note: I recommend you should download and use a document of the latest revision on the HiKorea web site.

 

3) 양식 작성 Fill out a form

* 주의: 소득이 없어도 비자 연장에는 아무 문제가 없다. 솔직하게 적어 내도록 하자.

  Note: There is no problem if you do not make money. Write it all down, frankly.

 

5. 전자민원 양식 작성
    Fill out an the e-Application form

- 정보 기입 및 해당 문서 첨부 Fill out your personal information and attach the related documents

- 50,000원 결제 Pay the fee (50,000 won)

 

6. 신청 결과 및 처리 
    Application result and Progress

 

Result

Progress

당일 처리 완료되었습니다. 저 같은 경우 '직업,연간 소득금액 신고서' 누락되었지만 즉시 제출 후 즉시 완료 되었습니다.

All process has been completed on the very day. In my case, the process has been completed despite I omitted the Foreigner Occupation And Annual Income Report Form.
