정의 Definition

 

익스트루젼(압출, 압출가공, 압출가공물) Extrusion

필요한 단면의 금형(다이)를 통해 재료를 밀어냄으로써 고정된 횡단면의 윤곽을 가진 물건을 만드는데 사용되는 공정.

Extrusion is a process used to create objects of a fixed cross-sectional profile by pushing material through a die of the desired cross-section.

 

역사 History

 

1797년, Joseph Brahma라는 잉글랜드의 발명가이자 자물쇠공에 의해 발명됨. 그는 수세식 변기를 개선하고 수압 프레스를 개발한 것으로 유명하다.

Invented in 1797 by Joseph Brahma who was an English inventor and locksmith. He is best known for having improved the flush toilet and inventing the hydraulic press.

    : 설계 상 형상의 자유도가 높음
      gives considerable freedom of form in the design process
