Other parent’s identification document confirming his/her personal details and signature (i.e. passport) - 아기의 한국 여권 (옵션)
Child's passport (optional, not necessary)
* 차후에 한국 출입국 관리소에 자녀를 캐나다 시민으로 등록하려면 자녀의 캐나다 여권이 필요함.
To register your child as a Canadian citizen with the Korean Immigration Authorities, you will need a Canadian passport for the child.
*당연히 아기 이름은 모든 문서가 동일해야 함.

여권용 사진 2매 (이번에 찍은건 6개월간 유효, 기간이 지나면 다시 찍어야된다).

The Hospital Birth Certificate
- 병원에서 공식적으로 발급한 출생증명서.
- 부모와 아기의 이름, 생년월일이 표기되어있어야 함.
- 영문 혹은 프랑스어 표기, 또는 한글일 경우 한글 원본과 함께 번역 공증 문서 첨부.
Official hospital birth certificate indicating the child and both parents' names and their date of birth (in English or French, or must be accompanied with its certified translations into English or French.)
가족관계증명서
The Family Relations Certificate
- 정부에서 발급한 출생 증명서인 가족관계증명서.
- 한국에서는 법원에서 가족관계 증명서를 영문으로 발급가능.
단, 한국 여권을 발급한 경우 영문으로 발급 가능.
- 영문 발급하지 않을 경우, 한글 원본과 함께 번역 공증 문서 첨부.
- 집 근처의 행복복지센터(주민센터)에서 1,000원에 발급 가능.
- 온라인에서 무료로 발급 가능.
- 가족관계증명서는 반드시 아이 이름으로(아이를 메인으로 설정해서) 발급할 것.
Government-issued birth certificate. The Supreme Court of the Korean government can issue the Certificate of Family Relations in English, only when the child was issued a Korean passport.
If not, it must be accompanied with its certified translations into English or French.
The certificate can be obtained with a fee of KRW 1,000 from a nearby community center in Korea, and online at the Electronic Family Relation Registration System free of charge.
Note: Family Relations Certificate issued in English under the child’s name indicating the relationship of the child and both parents

사진사가 사진 뒷면에 하기 내용을 명시해야 함. - 사진사 이름 - 사진을 촬영 장소의 주소 - 사진이 촬영된 일자보증인이 사진 뒷면에 싸인해야 함.
2 identical passport photos of the child
On the back of one of the photos, the photographer must write
- their name
- their complete address and
- the date the photos were taken
Your guarantor must also sign the back of this photo.
